Longmorn Distillery
Located in the whisky haven of Elgin, wedged between BenRiach and the Gordon & Macphail shop is Longmorn, a truly remarkable distillery that has always been a firm favourite of drinkers who want a tropical fruit explosion. While it was hoped that Pernod Ricard would make Longmorn more accessible when they purchased it the single malt expressions are still relatively limited. Longmore remains an extremely important part of Chivas Regal blends, mainly the 18year old and the Royal Salute 21year old. As a standalone product, Longmorn singlemalt from the 60’s and 70’s is a heavenly cherished whisky.
Scott's Selection
Scott's Selection's are exceedingly Rare Single Malt Scotch Whiskies hand picked as his favourites by Robert Scott, Master Blender at Speyside Distillers in Glasgow, Scotland. Over many years, Robert would "lay down" new fillings from distilleries all over Scotland and await in quiet antcipation the results of the maturing liquid gold. Only when he judged the individual Single Malts had achieved their optimum in quality and finish would he allow them to be bottled under his strict supervision. The selection is neither chill filtered or reduced with water and is bottled at the natural cask strength for Robert believed in savouring the original flavours of the unique collection.
