St. Magdalene, also known as Linglithgow, is a long lost and much lauded Lowland distillery that was once part of Scottish Malt Distillers, along with many of its lowland neighbours. Additionally known as Linlithgow, St. Magdalene is one of the unicorn distilleries for people to try, one of the two sought-after closed lowlands, formerly with Rosebank. At its peak around 1,000,000 litres of whisky were being produced but all that stands on the grounds now are a block of flats.
